The Scale of the Universe is an amazing website. It is clever, simple, informative and mind-blowing. Working off the idea of Charles and Rae Eames' film Powers of Ten 1 (see below) The Scale of the Universe shows everything in its proportional size, from the microscopic to the macroscopic universe, using colorful illustrations. Each item is click-able so that you can learn about objects in our visible (and not so visible) world and as an added bonus....the whole thing is set to lovely, ethereal music. Do not miss it!
